Whitehelm Capital (“Whitehelm”) is pleased to announce that we have been admitted as an Infrastructure Fund Manager member of GRESB, the leading global benchmark for assessing ESG performance in Real Assets. The GRESB benchmark (www.gresb.com) scores both participating funds and underlying assets on their ESG performance and facilitates the sharing of knowledge across the industry.

Oaklands Hill is a 63MW wind farm located in Victoria, Australia. Its revenues are underpinned by a 25-year energy offtake agreement with AGL Energy. AGL is also responsible for the O&M of the wind farm under a 25-year agreement. There is no merchant risk with full output contracted under the terms of the PPA to AGL Energy.

Kvitebjørn Varme is the district heating network in the city of Tromsø, the largest urban area in Norway inside the Arctic Circle. It produces more than 170 GWh of thermal energy annually, primarily from sustainable and low carbon generation technologies (including a modern 22MW waste to energy plant with an annual capacity of 56,000 tons). The heat is distributed through a network of 55km of underground pipes.
